Roadrunner Webmail Is Down?: 3 Ways to Deal With This.

Roadrunner Webmail has long been a household name when it comes to webmail services. The vast majority of internet users have this as their only option to go online and check out the world wide web, but what happens when Roadrunner goes down?

Here are 3 ways to deal with that problem, while keeping your sanity. What to do when Roadrunner Webmail is down

1. Look at a couple of alternatives.

First and foremost, it’s always a good idea to check out some alternatives.

The good news is that there are plenty of good free options out there.

Thunderbird by Mozilla and Enigmail by OpenPGP.org are both great choices.

Both Thunderbird and Enigmail come with plugins that will help you deal with your Roadrunner outage.

2. Do not send or receive email This seems counter-intuitive.

But when Roadrunner is down you should avoid sending and receiving emails.

This will help you avoid having messages drop into your outbox that you really don’t want to see.

Once you’ve checked out your alternatives, go back and click Delete from Outbox.

This will ensure that the message is not stored in your Outbox folder for viewing.

3. Disable email login You can also turn off your account’s email login.

This will disable your ability to receive an email so that you don’t accidentally see anything dropped into your inbox while it’s down.

Find your account and select Manage Account > Disabled Email Login. You will then see an option to click a button to disable email login.

How to determine if your Roadrunner email is down?

If your Roadrunner email is down, you may not be able to send or receive messages.
