Today, I am going to talk about LSUHSC Webmail. This is a very useful tool for students and staff at the university since it provides them with an easy way to access their email accounts without having to open up their computers on campus. 1. Go to https://webmail.lsuhsc.edu
2. Enter your username and password
3. Click on the “Inbox” icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen
4. Search for an email by typing in a keyword or phrase in the search bar at the top of the page
5a) If you find what you’re looking for, click on it to open it up
5b) If not, hit enter and type another word or phrase into that box and then click “Search” again
6) When you’ve found what you’re looking for, double-click on it to open up a new window with just that email displayed (or press Ctrl+D if using Firefox). You can also right-click on any message within your inbox to archive/delete/mark as unread etc., depending on which option is available from your browser’s dropdown menu when you hover over that particular message
7) To reply to an email, click back onto its listing in your inbox, then select “Reply” from either its toolbar options or main menu options below where all of your emails are listed
8) To delete an email without reading it first, right-click on the message’s listing, then select “Move to Trash” from the dropdown menu that appears
9) If you are done with your email session and want to exit out of LSUHSC Webmail, simply close its browser tab. You should not have to sign out unless you changed LSUHSC Webmail’s password since the LSUHSC password should work for LSUHSC Webmail as well.
