How To Access Dod Webmail?

The Department Of Defense (DoD) uses the web-based email system called “Outlook Web Access” or OWA. This allows you and your fellow employees to check your DOD EMAIL from home, from work, or from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection.

You can access OWA by logging into your DOD EMAIL account at the following address: http://webmail.dod.mil/owa/. If you are not sure how to log in, contact your DOD Network Administrator for instructions.

The default password is “password” (without quotes).

If this does not work for any reason, you can reset your password by going to https://web.mail.mil/ and clicking the link that says “Forgot Password?”.

This process will require you to fill out several fields with your complete information including the one-time password (OTP). The OTP can be found at the top right corner of your DOD ID card. After submitting this information, you will receive an email with further instructions on resetting your password. You may also contact your respective internet or computer administrator for assistance.

Don’t Forget to Change Your Password After You Reset It!
