Dod Webmail Link.

Hello, I am writing this to tell you that the Dod webmail link has been compromised. I have found a way to find your username and password. The first step is finding the USERNAME. This will be different for everyone but once you have done this step ill show you how to get past the next step

STEP 1. Go to the Dod webmail link at https://webmail.dod.mil

STEP 2. Once there you have two options either login or register an account if you already logged in click on edit profile this will be the small circular button with a picture of a wrench on it, once you are in your profile look for the box that says “password” its right under your username!

STEP 3. Click on edit profile, once there click on “change password”, which will take you to a page where you can change your password by putting in your current password and typing in a new one twice. Once you hit submit if everything goes correctly it should say your password was changed! If it doesn’t go back and make sure you type your old password and the new one twice.

STEP 4 (Optional but recommended). Make a new email at Hotmail, Gmail, etc.

Put in this information for all of the fields:

First name: YourFirstName

Middle: YourMiddleInitial

Last name: YourLastName

Nickname (optional): Anything you want

Username: yourusername@dod.mil

Password for username: your password

STEP 5. Once you have done this go back to the dod webmail URL and click on login it should ask you for your username and password, once you’re in it should ask you if you want to change your password. Of course, say yes and do the steps above!

STEP 6 (Optional for safety).   Delete the dod webmail link on your bookmarks bar. Plus delete this email as soon as possible I don’t care what you do with it just get rid of it.

STEP 7. DON’T EVER USE THE SAME PASSWORD TWICE!!! Change it periodically.
